As a derivation of plain weave, the mesh of main wires are broad, and the cross wiresare stricked together closely, letting liquids or air pass through the intersections ofthe main and cross wires. This net is best suited for filtering dehydration, and separationof centrifugal separators. Mesh is indicated by the number of weft wires between a distance of 25.4mm.
